Creative discovery is the year-round theme in our three's program.
The three's are an exciting time when children develop stronger social skills, build self-esteem and continue to develop self-help skills. The children learn how to be a friend through sharing, taking turns, expressing feelings and working together. Individual learning success as well as working skillfully within a team nurtures a child to have positive feelings about themselves.
With a strong sense of self-confidence, our three's securely try out new skills within our developmentally appropriate centers. These centers continue to strengthen their fine motor skills and intellectual growth. Through thematic units, the children connect and discover the basics of their Jewish faith as well as the world around them. Each week, our three's participate in enrichment programs including gym, library, Judaica and music.
Each week, our three's enjoy physical education classes at the Levine Jewish Community Center. Goals include promoting teamwork; following instructions; improving strength, flexibility and coordination; promoting joy, movement and exercise; and improving self-esteem, confidence and motor control.
