Priority Registration

Pre-registration for current students, their siblings and alumni will begin in early December of the Preschool year. Forms will be sent home with the students. Priority registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If the pre-registration form is not returned prior to CJP’s Open House in January, the student will lose his/her priority registration status. Accounts must be current in order to participate in priority registration.

To Pre-Register, please follow the following steps:

1.  Return the pre-registration form with the non-refundable registration fee of $140. (The second child enrolled at the Preschool requires a registration fee of $70.)

2.  CJP Account Balances must be current in order to pre-register.

3.  A separate pre-registration form is required for each sibling enrolled.

4.  All applications will be numbered and processed in the order in which they have been received. If your application is late, you risk not receiving your preferred class choice.

5.  Applications can be turned into the Charlotte Jewish Preschool Office or sent through your child’s backpack.

Open Registration

Open Registration begins with Open House in January and continues until spaces are filled. We will notify parents no later than the end of February of their child’s enrollment status. The Preschool's Open Registration is prioritized into two major categories: (1) Siblings of CJP alumni, Temple members. and LJCC Jewish members; and (2) LJCC non-Jewish families, Jewish non-affiliated families, and non-Jewish families, according to the date of registration.

Registration Applications

Registration applications will be available in the Charlotte Jewish Preschool office anytime after our Open House.  Applications will be processed in the order received.  Attached is a sample of that form.
