CJP Families received the call for help.  Our families are always looking for ways to participate in Tikkun Olam.  Please read below one example of how repairing the world is an integral part of our teachings at the Charlotte Jewish Preschool.

Dear Staff and Parents,

All I can say is WOW!! You have no idea how excited 2nd graders can get over a new box of crayons, or how thrilled teachers are to have new packs of construction paper and magic markers.

In a "focus school", or high poverty school, parents cannot afford to purchase supplies for their kids. 
Their first priority is to buy food and pay their apartment rent.

Thanks to all of you for your generosity and kind heart.  Please let me know if I can ever be of assistance to the school in any way.
